As anyone renewed there Range Conducting Officers card lately. I went on the NRA website to renew and you have to complete an online test. How long has that been going on.

Think it was last year or the year before it was introduced.

Anyone got the answers?

Mine is due this year but I won't be renewing it, military ranges aren't worth the hassle nowadays, I have no wish to continue to pay through the nose for a completely shite shooting experience courtesy of Landmark.

What happens if you don't have access to a computer.
I normally renew all our Clubs RCO cards at the same time we all went on the same RCO training course lots of years ago so our cards are all due for renewal at the same time and the club normally pays for them.
My members are not members of the NRA the Club is affiliated but that's it as far as I am aware.
The average age is about 68 years old none of them is computer literate I can count on one hand how many have a computer or tablet they struggle to use a mobile phone.

Just get the answers for them and they can get their grandbairns to complete it.

It never fails to amaze me how at a certain time on a certain date it seems that I will all of a sudden loose all the RCO skills that I may possess.

Especially as I exercise them on a weekly basis.

And I'd like to see what the response would be if the gov decided that driving tests had to be taken every four years.

The SCC card, well I am letting mine lapse as I am not renewing with the club that issues it.

So after Dec 31st I am not safe to shoot on MOD land.

8-)

I first picked a gun up when I was 13 ish, have handled guns all my life, it really is a silly system.

The RCO questions are badly written, and this is not just my opinion. It is shared by a number of people including a former Police Firearms Officer (armed on duty) who is now a retired BASC Firearms Officer and currently Club secretary for one of my clubs.

I agree the test is badly set out.
