Smooth bire "rifle" question.....
If an old service rifle has a smooth bore barrel, is single shot and is on a Sec2 can it be returned to a Sec1 multi shot or can it be held on a Sec1 FAC as is?

Yes it can go to S1, oddly enough, you need a reason to move it to S1, speak to your FEO and RFD.

As David said.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

So it's an easy process?, the rifle in question appears to have the magazine well filled with something to make it single shot, would it simply be a case of fitting a new magazine assembly to make it 5-shot again and putting on ticket?.

It is removable in the sense that you need tools to remove the magazine assembly, it isn't removable in the same way as an AK or AR mag for example.Dellboy wrote:snayperskaya wrote:So it's an easy process?, the rifle in question appears to have the magazine well filled with something to make it single shot, would it simply be a case of fitting a new magazine assembly to make it 5-shot again and putting on ticket?.
