Not only that, I think all of the figures demonstrate clearly that next to nothing was handed in across the board...

Utterly pointless piece of “seen-to-be-doing-something” crap legislation.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

I think there may be a few items that didn't get handed in.
My first thought is; "who had a bump stock?" wtf
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.

The ban on offensive weapons doesn't apply to antiques.
Except for antique flick or gravity knives which are still too dangerous to allow.
So I can tell my friend it's OK to sell his then; looks to be worth a half decent rifle!

I can only assume those figures don't include the back stock SGC and CCA had? The pre-ban MARS estimate was 400 and LA was 2500...... wtf

I suppose from now on offences committed with such proscribed weapons will have to be managed and figures massaged in order to claim this was a success and not a total waste of money. Otherwise Joe Citizen might get the idea that banning things doesn't work.
