Brown ridge rifle range

#1 Post by stottycake »

For those of you who might be interested, there is a new range opening hopefully in may ,in Belford Northumberland
Just to be clear I have nothing to do with this venture.
But thought it could be of interest to some,
As its always good to hear of a new range starting up,
Al

Costs a fortune and too many limitations.
Still building most of it.
Phaedra and I looked it over and are not impressed with their business plan!
I for one will stick with Gardner's Guns
Purveyor of fine cast boolits.
All round good guy and VERY grumpy old man.

Same here. I could not justify the membership costs.

So out of curiosity, costs and limitations?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

The costs to use it are at the bottom of the video.

Exactly. They are obviously not pitching it at your average Club shooter.

Extremely impressive presentation, lets see if it comes to fruition.
If it does I can't see me ever shooting there, far too rich for me but I wish them well as we need ranges like this in the U.K.

I'm probably missing something, but I can't see any backstop, and there's definitely a building in the background behind one of the gong targets.............maybe the JCB's haven't started yet.
However, it could be a brilliant facility with those distances and the right management attitude, but maybe not at those prices....
