It looks to me like they are appealing to a certain type of shooter. I also suspect that it will be successful within that niche, with corporate days helping to keep the lights on.

Might be worth a visit a couple of days a year on the day rate - but the distance and need for a hotel limits the visits.

Aye just the same as the remoteness of Bisley.

It sounds like it will be a decent range, but, the costs are very high.

Only 40 members this year
Minimum of Silver membership which (once the Vat is added) will be £1,500 - so £125 per day (10+2 guest days)
Walk up will be £150 (inc Vat)

The limitations I heard were,

They will allocate which days shoots are held on, maybe every 2 weeks maybe not, and those are the only days you can shoot on.
You can only shoot if there are 15 shooters booked on that day.

In comparison, Gardners 2K+ range (for non-members) is £800 per day, usually 20 people at £40 each.

If they offer a day rate to local clubs I may be interested depending on the price.

Hello

Bet the lone Ranger shoots there, only he can afford the Silver Bullets.

Home club or Range: Tcsc,.gardners guns,
There are 2 prs shoots at brownridge this year the first at the end of july, its a 2 day event so I've bought a spectator's ticket so I can see what the range has to offer, and and watch some competition shooting,

I’ll be very interested to see what becomes of it. Although at £40 for a spectator’s ticket I’m not sure that’s the best way to attract new blood to the sport!

There are some relatively serious questions to be answered with regards to the range and to my knowledge they’ve not been addressed.

I'd heard that, like Gardners, they are having problems with planning permission.
