Re: Nationwide public survey of Firearms

#21 Post by Graham M »

When my new FEO first came calling he was still in uniform complete with stab vest. He freely admitted that he had just taken over the job and knew absolutely nothing about the job and was quite up front about asking me what was needed. Fortunately he was ex military and as an army sniper knew something about military rifles, but not too much about hunting or target rifles. Decent bloke though and the next time he came he was dressed in civvies and a little bit more knowledgeable, although he wasn't aware about what Staff's wanted as far as security was concerned with black powder boxes. He didn't tell me about locking it away or chaining it to the wall etc.
Apart from that he was eager to learn about what I did and was quite interested in my guns.
Never argue with an idiot, he will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
