Yes as above, my FEO was quite adamant that action type was not to be put on the application, only on the notification of purchase.

Well at least some of them follow the rulebook then! :good:

OP - Which version of the 9mm straight-pull are you looking at?

I ended up getting the SGC lever-action 9mm and after some initial teething problems with feeding its now sorted fingerscrossed and is a lovely piece of kit. If you're going to use the gun for PCC/practical type shooting I would give a serious look at the SGC gun as it definitely faster cycling than a straight-pull

To close this thread, I applied for the variation mid-October and it came back today. My authority is Devon/Cornwall/Dorset - I live in the latter county.

I just specified 9mm calibre rifle and asked for 1000 rounds of 9mm and that's all that has been added the revised FAC certificate i.e. no specifics as to action or specific cartridge.

The rifle I'm planning to get is 9mm Luger straight pull.

Question it or they'll be getting away with it for long enough for it to become a rule.
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.

Good deals with Paul101, Charlotte the flyer, majordisorder, Charlie Muggins, among others. Thanks everybody.

Good. Go get it bought. Then try to find enjoyment in it.
