After re-reading the article I remembered that my Nan gave me a medallion the my Great Grand Father won in 1918 at a competition at Jarrahdale Rifle Club.

That's a wonderful piece of your Great Grandfather's life, Sandgropher.

Absolutely Priceless!

Do you have a photo of your GG? Perhaps you can have it framed along with the medallion, with a little note on how he won it. This way it's history will be self explanatory to future generations.

Ovenpaa, as a woman and partner/wife, it will probably happen sooner than you think and at the expense of something you have been needing for years :-)

I have the same problem with my wife, only it is shoes that prevent me buying all the things I cannot live without!!
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

AC,
I have very little details, but I know a detailed family history has been done, so the next time I'm back in WA I'll look it up and see what I can find.
