50 in a month's time.

I don't feel like I should be 50. 50 still seems an old person to me and I just don't feel that old (mature) yet

I used to meet up with a couple of 'older' ladies for coffee every morning and complained of aching one day, they both said 'Wait until you get to 50' - Some of the wisest words I have ever heard.

Old enough to remember when it was all trees around here and being "fancy" was having brown sugar in your coffee....

Old enough to remember when having coffee (percolated) was posh - as for brown sugar - OOOOOOOOHHHH POSH!

I've just realised I've moved into the next age bracket since I first voted.. can i edit it..??

75 is where age REALLY starts to kick in...........if you haven't already snuffed it, that is..............

I suppose the lack of young shooters could be down to the cost of getting started. I know the .22lr isn't so bad but when you think of the cost of a decent .308 for example then a lot of youngsters would consider it a LOT of money to lay out for something they would rarely use in comparison to other hobbies/inteests they may have.

I know my lad (21 Years old) enjoys our weekly trips to the indoor air range we go to but he has no interest in going full bore. Prefers to spend his money on his motorbike & X-Box.
