Out bush!
Got a surprise e-mail from a Air Force mate a couple of days ago. Today he sent me a picture of the both of us out bush.
I can't for the life of me remember that exercise but I guessing we'd been doing some live firing as neither of us have BFA's fitted and I have my bayonet fixed - I had a little bit of a liking for the bayonet! clapclap

Re: Out bush!
Must have been at the time, but its been about 17 years since it was taken. The webbing will help me narrow it down as I only wore it when I was attached to Support Flight, the QRF or playing the enemy. Actually QRF makes sense as we've got our helmets with us and they were a must for the QRF teams.

Not a bad quality picture considering the age of it.

The poor guy posts a simple picture, and what does he get!
Having seen the 'French army knife' yesterday, I was wandering what the Aussie army knife would be like.....obviously a bottle opener instead of a corkscrew.....and then maybe just another bottle opener, in case the other wore out... razz
