Does anyone remember a C.J. Hyde he was a smallbore shooter in the 1940-1950's and was a member of the 1952 British Olympic team .Hyde shot in the 50M 3P & prone events.I am looking for any articles or pictures of the British team or Hyde.He used a very rare Winchester 52 rifle and am trying to find info on it.He was from Salisbury Wiltshire.

Jack Hyde's daughter is in her 80s and just stopped shooting. She's sold me her rifle (#104), one of 4 which Jack made for his family.

Built on a Rem37 action with an Eric Johnson barrel and Redfield sights.

It really ought to be in a Museum but the NSRA dont have a proper one and it doesn't fit the collection policy of the NRA Museum.

There really OUGHT to be a "MUSEUM OF BRITISH TARGET SHOOTING " --- everything from musket onwards, including shotgun, Heritage. .. ... ideally with associated ranges and classrooms.
