WW2 Kurland Latvia

#1 Post by Dave 101 »

As I have spent the day at home I have been looking at videos on You Tube I started off looking for Russian sniper vids then came across these about a place in Latvia called Kurland , This vid shows them digging for bodies etc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twHJF94k ... re=related but others show so much that has just lain on the surface all these years ,
Intriguing !

Intriguing indeed, Latvia is maybe 1500 miles away and not a huge country, how can such remains be left on the surface untouched for so many years?

Maybe we have too many people here in the UK intent on ebaying anything they find instead of leaving to rest.
