sorry to go all alpha1 on you, but what does UXO stand for? and i assume ROV remote op vehicle?

is 27.5m divable?

UXO = Un-Exploded Ordnance

40m is considered the maximum depth for recreational diving.

It's actually sitting at 13.35 mtrs, we had moved on when I checked the depth but there are guard boats that would stop divers anyway!

If a v-12 it could also be a Daimler-Benz DB 601 as used in the Messerschmitt Bf 109 amongst others.The area is going to be littered with German stuff as well.

Irrespective of the model of engine & the location among possible UXO & similar explosive risks I doubt anyone could get it to start again.....
