Popped in last weekend and was pleasantly surprised, jam packed full of stuff, not very hot on written interpretation but the ever present and friendly staff, ex squaddies in the main, are on hand to answer any questions, good library and cafe.

Only been on the go for three years and still building the collection especially the bigger stuff currently working on renovating a Sarcen and have just had an Austin Champ, donated. I used to have one of them when I had my fencing and forestry business, four cylinder three litre Rolls Royce engine, 12 miles to the gallon and shite off road performance far too heavy and easily bogged in the hill but I just loved it canvass tilt and all.

Well worth a visit. https://www.visitwestlothian.co.uk/thin ... -scotland/

Looks worth a visit.

I like the fact they say CASH ONLY! Non of this "CASHLESS TRANSACTIONS ONLY) nonsense.

Go on folks, go visit them.....

BTW: Is it built on the old airfield Dromia?

It is actually on the old British Legion/RNIB site where if my memory serves me from when I lived there they made the poppies.

Cash only is one of the major service attractions for me as well as I will not use cards for in person payment.
