Two Inert Russian hand grenades

#1 Post by snayperskaya »

First is a resin replica RG-42 cast from an original and used as a film prop. The fuze body and lever etc are actual metal Russian parts. £25 posted

Second is an actual inert WW2 Russian F-1 grenade body that was ground dug in Kurland and is typical wartime rough cast.Fitted with genuine Russian fuze body etc and repainted in wartime green.....would make an interesting paperweight

I also have two ground dug cast iron F-1 grenade bodies that were found in a St Petersburg (Leningrad) suburb, they are very rough cast and were likely made during the Siege of Leningrad. They have been cleaned up a bit and still have traces of original paint and would make an interesting conversation piece.I can post pics if anyone's interested

£15 each or £25 the pair + postage

Could they be classed as offensive weapons if waved about as a threat in a public place, in much the same way as a deact pistol pointed at someone?

I've got a wooden storage device in my kitchen containing dozens of offensive weapons which could well precipitate the arrival of an ARU if I were to be so stupid as to wave them around in public.

Waving pretty much anything around in the street in a threatening manner would probably have the same effect!.

And this is a for sale thread.....not a debating society!!!

Yes. It'd come under the same rules as imitation firearms in those circumstances, I would think. A danger to public safety or the peace.
Worse, in the current climate, you might end up being slotted.

With apologies to snayperskaya.
