If we entered a time of Civil Unrest/Armageddon/Zombie Attacking, what would we do?

This is one of the many reasons I upped sticks and moved to France.
Same number of people as the UK, but about 3 time the area to fit them into.

I'm lucky I now live in the middle of nowhere, and electricity black outs are a regular occurrence, so we've got a Generator, and enough fuel to last a week.
However, Neither my wife & I like the idea of being reliant upon an external source of fuel for it.
With that, we're going with a Bio-gas generator, just fill it up with 5h1t and other bio-digestable stuff and your good to go.

So any of you ever happen to be passing through central France, feel free to pop in for a dump ;)
