Online calendars?

If we entered a time of Civil Unrest/Armageddon/Zombie Attacking, what would we do?

Online calendars?

#1 Post by Dangermouse »

For several months now I have felt that I am losing the fight to keep up to speed with all the information that is coming at me. Between work, cadets, shooting and everything else that life throws up I am missing dates and confusing which weeks I am doing what.

I do not and have no wish to carry a calender with me 24/7.

Today I had a lightbulb moment and realised that between my work PC, smart phone, tablet and even home PC (which never gets turned on these days) I am normally only a click away from accessing the net.
So I started to think about a "cloud" style calendars.

A quick search shows that they do exist. Does anyone have any experience with these and can recommend one?

I have a Mac, boing and iPad as well as my wife using an boing, so the inbuilt calendar works an absolute treat. However in the absence of fruit related tech, then Google Calendar should fit perfectly for you. :good:

Aye, mouse, no harm in letting everyone know where you'll be and when...

+1 for Google calendar.

I also create all my work appointments in Outlook and then add my gmail email address as an attendee for relevant things I need to see from home and they get automatically created...

Google calendar. When I add items, my wife adds items or indeed my gun club adds dates they all appear on one calendar, so easy.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Holes, dug by little moles, angry jealous
Spies, got telephones for eyes, come t' you as
Friends, all those endless ends, that can't be
Tied, oh they make me laugh, an' always make me
Cry, til they drop like flies, an' sink like polished
Stones,

Don't forget Badger,
