If we entered a time of Civil Unrest/Armageddon/Zombie Attacking, what would we do?

Bug out: where?

#1 Post by meles meles »

So, oomanses, the effluent has struck the air circulator and you need to bug out, pronto ! A fast, seaworthy launch, which you had the foresight to acquire, stock with fuel and gold doubloons, is ready and waiting. Where will you go ? Which country has the best gun laws and a society that will welcome you ?

Country? If the worst is happening/has happened I would be stopping here, I know the country, the language and the terrain. What i would take and where is a different subject altogether.

If the S has HTF why worry about which country has the best gun laws???, surely better gun laws would equate to the locals having potentially better firepower. As ovenpaa said if you stop here you know the terrain etc, I would be heading for the Welsh hills myself.

Don't speak much of it over here in Kebab land either.

Is this a global fan then badger or a local shtf storm?

I'd be inclined to say stay where you are: less memeber of the public would be armed and competing for scarce resources, so you could get what you need /want just by the fact you actually have a gun, any gun.

Plenty of remote spots to get your head down and avoid hostile contact unless you have to.
