How to throw a knife or axe

If we entered a time of Civil Unrest/Armageddon/Zombie Attacking, what would we do?

Political Correctness is the language of lies, written by the corrupt , spoken by the inept!

in the old days, throwing an axe was just a way of distracting the guy while you sank a bodkin in his belly ! :run:

The tip of my Swiss Army Knife is still in the dining hall floorboards at the college I attended in my youth, I stopped throwing knives after that.
I think I'd be more effective with a "Rock in a Sock"!

How to throw a knife or axe? Don't.

Some people take what they see in the movies too literally.

"Sorry mate, it bounced off, would you mind standing still while I get my knife back, then stand a bit closer to you while I throw it at you again?"

I can't see that cutting it in a confrontation ;-)

Although its been a while and I'm out of practise...... I was rather good at knife throwing. My favourites are my Gil Hibben full size throwers..... as used by Steven Seagal in the movie Under Siege. It is also a useful general purpose knife too.

I was always taught that if you really wanted to stick a knife in someone you shouldn't let them see it first!
