How much is fuel in the UK ?

If we entered a time of Civil Unrest/Armageddon/Zombie Attacking, what would we do?

How much is fuel in the UK ?

#1 Post by Explosive »

It's going down fast here in Canada. OK I know it's always cheaper here than Europe, but l paid just 78.6 cents a litre here this morning. That's about 39.3 pence in UK money.

Next time I go to the gas station I will fill up my gas cans while I am at it.

Looks like I was ripped off, my wife just filled up and paid 66 cents. Pays to shop around I guess :)

UK price is around £1 per litre +- a couple of pence depending on location. It was up to the £1.40 area a couple of years ago.

I remember when gas was 33 cents a gallon in Canada. If the current trend continues, we may see that again!

I remember when I was a lad and you could get to go to that new fangled cinematograph and you gave them a clean jam jar to get in and you didn't have to stand at the back, but they let you sit down as well. Luxury!
The kids of today..... pah! Got it easy I reckon.

Aye with all this global warming they don't know what climate is, when I were a lad the winters used to get that cold that the flames in the fire would freeze solid.

A true story that is. I used to snap the frozen flames off and take them round to a mates house who had no heating. We would put the frozen flames under a couple of twigs they had and when they defrosted they would burst into flame and their family wouldn't freeze to death that night.
If you told that to people today, they wouldn't believe you!
