I want to know who the hell is going around mowing lawns and trimming hedges in the zombie movies.

Because months and years after the outbreaks, you always see survivors going house to house, scavanging. And the gardens are never overgrown.

Maybe its the routines which they had in life which still linger on as motor functions.
I bet they lose toes with the strimmers though because concentration wont be at its best

Yes, that would make sense. I saw a Zombie film once at the cinema, where the people were holed up in a Shopping Mall. Haven't seen one since.
