scissors from a swiss army knife

#1 Post by bradaz11 »

I need the scissors from a full size (91, 111) SAK, would take a whole beat up one, but only really want the scissors, so can't really bring myself to pay £20 for a brand new example

SwissCard

Or send a request to the main importer.
They'll sell you the scissors...

The Swiss knives have lifetime guarantees.

I want to mod them, so the swisscard ones won't work, and I thought on warranty stuff the knife has to be sent in, they repair and post back out, again, no good to me as I need a whole set

Phone their shop in London. I have in the past gone in there in person to get a new toothpick/tweezers for one of my knives, and I think even the key ring on one of them.

They are very good and have a station downstairs where a knife can be built from scratch so I would suspect you may be able to ask them to post you out the scissor element :)

I used such a station to build myself a SAK at a trade show once.

Always fancied making one too.

Have a Victorinox display board, with all the SAK parts on it for one of the flagship models.
Be a shame to spoil it though
