Police confiscated my 150 year old muzzle loader.

Poor sod has had quite a run of bad luck by the sound of it. I'm guessing there can't be many ex-lawyers with the same double-barrelled name.

From the judge's comments it sounds like a large part of it was for not having the stuff locked away somewhere secure.
