Thanks for that - like kungfugerbil I seem to remember reading it some years ago but it's a great text and always useful to refresh.

Well this is great. The last time at the range I did the Turkey neck thing naturally to try and get my position more consistent and my grouping size halved. Having now read this I see that I was right to do so! I do the NPOA thing as I was taught that as a kid. But my next thing to try is moving my hips to adjust my aim for each target. I don't do that at the moment! At the range tonight so wish me luck!

‘AR15 shooters will want to put their nose on the charging handle. Don’t worry, it won’t hurt you as you will move with the recoil.’

I’ve always taken this as gospel, but it always surprises me how few AR shooters do it.
