#1 Post by Dorset_shooter »

Visit lined up for 1pm tomorrow,

-- 7 months waiting
-- One canceled visit
-- Four visits to Firearms HQ dorset
-- Countless emails & Phone calls

Hopefully its worth the wait / Agro

Dorset police have been most unpleasant to deal with.

Be nice and courteous, regardless of how slighted you feel. You never know if the FEO who visits you is run off their feet and under lots of pressure from high up.

I don't doubt it, not returning phone calls or visits isn't acceptable.

Cant wait though, its been along time coming.

He’ll make his decision within a few minutes of meeting you so attitude is everything.

For what its worth the last link in the chain was a good one.

Seems to have been a success , limited .22 holding to 500.

Im sure i can live with that though!

It sounds very promising. I wouldn't worry too much about the .22 limit, because you can always put in a variation later if you find you need more ammunition. Whether you'll get an increase is another thing, but 'don't ask don't get'. ;)
