Im hooked.... I

#1 Post by krum2000 »

Well, my first visit to WDRPC went very well I thought. Had a great time, learnt a lot, put 50 rounds down, I like to think I did alright since I never touched a firearm before. Haha wtf

Thanks so very much to everyone who gave their time and experience, a more friendly bunch I've never met. Hope to see everyone again and try everything out. clapclap

For a first time effort that is quite acceptable and you cannot beat some range time with a rimfire, it is how I started and I still enjoy iy :)

Yeah, 10/22. Top 2 were a semi the other 3 were a bolt action. :) Need to start budgeting now because I can see this becoming expensive fast. haha

I'm glad you enjoyed your experience, Dave. :good:

You're right about it being expensive/addictive, but there are plenty of good used firearms available so you won't need to win the lottery to get started once you get your FAC. ;)

Dunno about that, some of us have spent thousands on rimfires.

Not always, Cast Boolits and gallery loads can be in the .22 cost range if you load your own.

Ain't that the truth.

Still, on the bright side, there is usually more opportunity to fire .22lr than there is to fire the bigger stuff. :D
