Shooting days are Wed/Fri/Sun dawn till dusk but minimum of two shooters so pre arrange any visit but the downside is it is only 50 yards.

My home club is about 10 minutes away from my house. There’s a few other clubs that are not too far away either

I would try Diggle range, they are accepting membership. You would need to join has a probationary member first. I am a member and I travel about 45 mins to get there. There are members of Diggle range who travel 2+ hours to shoot the competitions.

Just to follow up on this, I ended up joining Phoenix. It's a little bit of a commute but it's my Sunday morning treat, amazing facilities and plenty of guns to choose from.

For club membership It’s £300 a year then £5 an hour. Not cheap.

Very very good though with promise of an outdoor range and plans for three gun...

Shot there today, very friendly, very secure and safe.

There are clubs round here at £40 a year.

But it’s ten old chaps who use someone else’s range or it’s a shack in a damp quarry.

Phoenix are probably doing more to get people into shooting than the NRA are, I know where I’d rather put my money.
