Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

You are pretty much knackered if you're looking to get replacement parts. I needed several for a .357 Taurus and struggled like buggery!

Highland Outdoors stopped importing the Taurus LBR, because in short, Taurus stopped making it. Highlands then sold their spare part inventory (not really an inventory, but a group of broken revolvers stripped down for spares) to Midcounties Blacking. They have very few parts left, if any now.

Taurus USA don't supply any parts at all, even to the US market. You need a part in the US, send the gun to Taurus and they'll sort it, due to the limited lifetime guarantee in the US. No good for us...

Taurus Brazil, wouldn't even answer emails! Frankonia in Holland said they would supply parts, then changed their mind...

I was fortunate Midcounties Blacking had whet I needed.

There was a bloke in the U.K., "Magic 9 design" that was making custom hard to find parts for the Taurus, but stopped making them to concentrate on other projects. He might be worth a call.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

This place has some parts, not all are marked prohibited sales outside US.
What are you needing?

I could do with a replacement firing pin and transfer bar.

I would no more trust Valmont to cut bread, never mind go anywhere near something that needed repairing....
