And that is exactly what they are for! Our club has these in stock for four quid a box. We also have RWS R50 at 14 quid a box. Is the RWS that much “better”? Yes it is. In shooting, there are two aspects where you really do get what you pay for, in my opinion. Glass and factory ammo. Performance rarely exceeds its price point.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

The glass thing is fading too to be honest, I’ve seen some incredible scopes at £300, things are really changing.
