CCI Blazer
I know they are cheap however they are also bloody noisy, is anyone getting reasonable results from them?

We prefer a good worsted blazer and a straw boater...

Re: CCI Blazer
I'm afraid I found them a bit ropey. If your rifle likes CCI, try CCI Standard velocity - not as expensive as other brands, but nowhere near as cheap as Blazers.

Re: CCI Blazer
Fiocchi seem to suit all our .22 popguns, and are well priced. Clean too.

Re: CCI Blazer
Tried them in my 10/22 and 1911. As you say bloody noisy and I've not found them to be especially accurate but OK for plinking with.

Re: CCI Blazer
I use CCI Standard in both my CZ & 15-22 & I've never had any issues. Interestingly though, used Mini Mags & had a load of failures. Was tempted to try Blazer but maybe I'll give it a miss.DL. wrote:I'm afraid I found them a bit ropey. Blazer is CCI's answer to Remington Thunderbolt.
Both cheap and useless, even if you only have a vague interest in where the bullet goes after leaving the muzzle.

Re: CCI Blazer
Blazer shoots okay for me although I reckon Minimag is a bit more consistent. I have had some really good groups with Blazer though and it always cycles well. Most HV brands are noisy through a 16 inch barrel.
