Sabatti 10/22 clone

#1 Post by EDP »

Has anyone any experience with these Sabatti 10/22s? A friend has one in good condition and I'm interested in whether it's a close enough copy that aftermarket parts (aside from just magazines) will fit/or that the barreled action from the Sabatti will fit things like the Magpul Hunter X-22 stocks, just for example? I've currently only one 22 slot left and will prob need another/a bigger safe to get any more slots!!! Or I'd just buy it on spec, but I've my eye on another rimmy too so I'm being careful!

To be honest, with the older 10/22's coming with the better metal trigger housings and costing £150 second hand for an action, you'd be hard pressed to see the advantages of something unknown.

Hello there,
I have 2 x Sabatti rifles...in .223 & .308. They are a lot of gun for not much money..BUT...whilst the .308 is a top-loader the .223 has a mag....which are as rare as hens teeth in the UK.
If you want my opinion make sure you can get spares easily before buying..
cheers
John
