Doesn't have to be Lantac or Cmmg, you also have;

Bradley Arms,
Southern Gun company,
Spikes Tactical,
NWCP,
S&P 15-22,
Kriss Defence,

Personally I have a Spikes Tactical, I think it's flawless, love it to bits but there are lots to chose from on the market. At the end
of the day they all do the same thing.

I have a S/W M&P 1 yr old and it’s great it’s just I have used a Cmmg a few times at the club range and I prefer the feel of it compared to my gun.

I have to agree with you there, I'v shoot the M&P and it's great but I just prefer the feel of my Spikes.

Lantac polish the chamber, recrown the barrel and angle the feed ramp, etc, it's the added value that make it worth while.

Only sold my first CMMG from Lantac to pay for my very first USA 3 gun match back in 2013, mate of mine still has it and will never part with it as it's won him a mini rifle match or two.

Got another a couple years back and the boonie packer magazine adapter option, feeds from 15-22 mags, has made them better IMO.
