Anyone know if there's something like this made in the UK?

#1 Post by jackpoint »

Just sold my semi as have a hankering for a bolt action for hunting and paper punching duties and came across this company....

.... And thought they looked like a bit of fun, so wondered if anyone in the UK is making similar?

I actually started off thinking about a t1x, then budget crept to an Anny 1710 but they all seem to have quite long barrels and ideally want a 16 or 18 inch at most. (The 1710 tac seems overly expensive and not sure about the looks)

Anyway, ramble over and ta for any help thankssign

Devon custom rifles had some pictures of a rimfire build on their facebook page a few days back.

Just have the barrel cut down and rethreaded/crowned as required

There is the new Ruger Precision Rimfire clone of its centrefire big brother if you don't mind a rather plastic rifle. 18-inch barrel and a lot cheaper than any custom job.

Thanks guys.
I did look at the RPR but there are some less than stellar reviews of it out there. Not to say it's a bad rifle but perhaps not quite as accurate as some had hoped for.
