.22rf semi auto recommendation

#1 Post by tonyshooter »

Please can anyone recommend a .22rf semi auto, I currently have a Brno semi auto and I have a FAC slot for a second .22rf that needs to also be a semi auto, but not a Brno.

All help appreciated.

Thanks.

What for?

For Practical/IPSC, S&W 15-22

For Rabbits, 10/22 with Moderator

For LWSR/Gallery a customised 10/22 with target barrel, optics, trigger, stock.

For fun silly gun, I fancy an AR-7

Everyone should have a 10/22 in their cabinet! It’s “Big Lad’s Mechano”!!!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

The Viking does very well at LSR with her marlin 7000T (Target) complete with the Hubble telescope nailed to the top. They are not expensive either.

This.

Although I'd suggest a bolt action for pest control rather than a semi, but that was the criteria provided.

I got a Remington Speedmaster from Scotarms for a song. It shoots straight and feeds ANY ammo you put through it.
It's easy to strip and clean (it's a must for a semi)
I saw one go for a fiver
I had a 10/22 which I tricked up for practical minigun and I hated it!
Purveyor of fine cast boolits.
All round good guy and VERY grumpy old man.

Did the slow rate of fire cost you points?
