CZ 455 Question

I have picked up some firearms from a widow for disposal

Among then is a 455 cadet single shot no magwell is it possible to convert to mag fed ? easilly of course

its brand new in the box so must be worth doing surely ......?

I think the cost would exceed the value of the end result. Either keep it as is, or offload it.

It’s going to be very niche if it wasn’t changed. S/H 455s are not valuable as they are. A single shot training rifle, less so. Until of course we get to 40 years time where such oddities will face value in their rarity.

First thing would be to find someone who wanted a single shot CZ, then see how much they’d pay. If it’s a 100 quid, it’s a 100 quid, that’s the worth of it. Not so good for the widow, but the shooter who originally thought this was a good idea, his “legacy” goes on! And bests pounds, shillings and pence as far as I’m concerned.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Might be worth trying to sell it as an entry/club level benchrest rifle.
