One Piece Mount Suggestions, Please.

#1 Post by Sc85uk »

Hi, I'm looking for a one piece mount with at least 20MOA of adjustment. I hear good things about Spuhr and a mixed bag about Tier One.

The Mount will be sitting atop of a Tikka T3X Tac A1 and housing a Vortex Viper PST Gen II with a 30mm tube and 56mm objective.

I was thinking along the lines of this https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/spuhr ... -system-15

But if anyone has any recommendations they would be much appreciated.

I have a number of Tier one mounts and can't fault them.
What negatives have you heard?

Accuracy International do a one piece 20MOA in 30mm as well, they also do a 28MOA 34mm and probably do more.

Tier One all day long. Sphur a close second.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Are T1 doing a one piece now as opposed to a bolt up version?

I have a Tier One single mount with 30MOA on my Steyr. Excellent piece of kit and no regrets on buying it.

Only had tier one rings, will be buying a one piece mount from them soon. Their customer service is really good, my tactical bipod needed new bushings as the legs were loose (over 3 years). They sent new bushings and screws no problem. They were willing to have a "look"at it for me, but my preference was to DIY.

I have a Leupold one-piece mount with 20 MOA built-in. Never had any issues with it.
