Re: Winchester 1894 carrier run
SimG, It had crossed my mind especially as the Marlin carrier is probably a tad easier to machine however spares for the Marlin are readily available so I decided against it.

Re: Winchester 1894 carrier run
Update - A rather hefty lump of EN24T is winging its way over and should be enough to build an initial run of 25+ carriers plus some spare to confirm the process. I have capped the run at around 25 as they are going to be very time consuming to run and I do not want too many left on the shelf so if you would like a carrier or two and have not yet said anything please shout either on this thread or by email so the Viking knows what to put on one side.

Re: Winchester 1894 carrier run
This is where I am at the moment, the fixturing is all finished and the parts shown are soft metal to confirm fit and function, there is a bit more work to do and then I can fit them, confirm they are all OK and the production parts will be machined.
Re: Winchester 1894 carrier run
Looking forward to getting my hands on one. Im using my underlever all the time now.
