SimG, someone already does Marlin carriers here in the UK and it would be wrong to do the same.
Yep, I'm aware and will invoke the "Scotsgun Rule"...
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Yes please, all I need at this stage from anyone is a picture and a couple of vague dimensions and I can do the rest.

Forgot to add, for things like firing pins on non-underlever applications I will be looking at machining from Titanium

Well I’m on my fourth firing pin, all CMMG originals, they last around 10,000 rounds with my Guiselle SSAE

You have the opportunity to take over where NDFS left off and supply dies for obsolete calibres. Also, CNC lathe is the toll used by all the USA based custom bullet mould suppliers. You need a billing machine to make the cast iron blocks and a fixture to position them in the lathe. After that is is CNC turning. See the Accurate Molds web page to get an idea. There is a demand in the UK, although small, for all the Rook Rifle calibres, and the full range of black powder cartridge rifles. Also consider supplying cartridge cases turned from the solid as Jim Goodwin of NDFS did.

Also with the £ being at a more realistic level it makes UK made items more viable in terms of margins with the US products now being expensive here.

How about modestly priced go/no go gauges for rimmed cartridges? 303brit and 7.62x54mmR would be a great starting point.
