Adjustable butt plate

#1 Post by Yalan »

Looking back over some past threads I saw mention of some 3/4 way adjustable butt pad carriers. I can't see anything on the website - any plans or pointers?

Gosh, I have not made those on years however I may have enough parts to put a couple together. What rifle/stock is it for?

Thanks. It'd probably go on M4 swing (currently Anschutz plate) / musgrave ( curreny fixed bonded pad) stocks.
Have you any pictures / comparisons with Tubb / Dolphin?
Cheers!

Comparisons... I am not even sure if I have the parts left and I have not had my hands on a Dolphin although we do have a rifle with a Tubb which is what drove me to design my own as the Tubb was so expensive at the time. I will not know what I have until I am back in the workshop as they are no longer on the inventory.

Do let us know what you find - I have an alternate screw type unit but haven't yet fitted it because it'd need quite a lot of work to make it fit - looking for a solid piece of kit which can withstand both fullbore recoil and constant adjustment through use by multiple users in a club scenario.

Thanks.
