Shoot it anyway and we'll take it from there.

Edit: Just thinking about this quickly, if anyone else in the same boat, just shoot the competition anyway and get your results in - all and any feedback/results we can get is helpful. fingerscrossed

To be honest Grant the way range access is going to pot here I doubt I could committ to shooting at any distance within any time frame.

I have the same problem as Adam I have no idea when I will have access to a 300yd range. Landmarc have changed there range lane charging rates our club is having to rethink its range booking policy. Other wise if we continued to use and pay the new charges for the ranges we normally book we will be bankrupt by the end of the year.

I think we might have to have a serious look at a 100/200m competition. sign85

New thread methinks.

OK we've seemed to run into couple of teething problems :cool2: How do we resolve them?

1) Timetabling too rigid and
2) Lack of suitable ranges for some people.

Number 1 seems the easiest to solve - shoot it as and when you can. However, we need some consensus as to when all the results have to be in by and how many rounds do we shoot?

Number 2 is trickier. A shorter range means reduced target size and possibly a different classification criteria.

IMO if we have a 100m distance, then it should be restricted to rimfires. Do we allow all rimfires or just stick to 22lr and 22wmr? 100m might not stretch the 17HMR enough to be a challenge.

If we can all get access to at least 200m then we might have something to work with, as to the format - I aint touching it, I have enough on my plate already! ;)

Any thoughts?

I don't own a rim fire and I don't really want to spend any money on one. But if you guys want to go down that route hey OK. Enjoy.
