Bullet pointing

Did I see from our resident Euro Champ's write up that you make a 155 bullet pointer?
Where can I find details please?
Thank you

Re: Bullet pointing
John,
I build pointing systems for Forster and Redding dies, they are conversion systems so you simply unscrew your existing die, empty the contents out, replace them with the SHED sleeve and forming tool and screw the die back together and you are ready to go, a 20 second job. The hard part was designing the upper tooling as it is shaped in such a way that it better blends the junction of the tipped area to the Ogive. Arriving at the correct angle took a lot of experimenting and range testing.
When I tested the concept I found I could get consistently finer points without deformation of the junction than with the Hoover and Whidden systems and Tim confirmed this and went on to shoot the Euros with one of my systems. I ended up with a few people including Tim shooting the competition with bullets pointed with my systems.
Sadly I have just had to increase my prices a bit as I am now VAT registered.
