After waking at 5 and unable to get back to sleep  I took a wander through the internet and found this

It bought back some memories of some of the weapons used while I was in the RAAF. The L2A1 Automatic Rifle with built in burst setting (it used to jam every 3-4 rds), the absolute pig of a MG - the M-60, our Vietnam era hand me down M-16's, the SLR, Mag 58 (GPMG), Minimi, Styer and F1 Carbine. We only got taught the basics, on the F1, as we weren't supposed to have them, but our WOFF carried one in Vietnam and liked them. He wasn't happy when they had to be handed in!
