one knife!

If we entered a time of Civil Unrest/Armageddon/Zombie Attacking, what would we do?

one knife!

#1 Post by inderrajsingh »

hey guys!

If you had to pick one knife, and one knife only to take with you in a UK Based survival situation what would it be? and why?

Personally I really like the KaBar BK10 and the Wilkinson Sword Type D knife. out of the two id take the Wilkinson because its made here in the UK, the metal is fantastic, its rough, rugged and up to any task!

Crikey, I cannot even remember seeing a Type D for sale in recent years and they are probably eye watering expensive these days. As much as I would like to choose British I would probably an early Bundeswehr Army Knife, reasonably compact, tough as old boots, holds a reasonable edge and has the weight to get through tougher things.

I currently own a mint type d Wilkinson. Purchased it a while back. Love that blade. Sharpened it once about 18 months ago and it's kept it's edge since.

My D's mint unused...still has the factory finish on the blade:.only change was the scabbard, as it needed minor tweaks to adjust poor tolerances.

My Randall Model 1 would have to be close to the top of my list, or my latest...a Finnish leuk.
