Help For Heroes

#1 Post by Christel »

I thought of linking in with HFH and sent them an email to that effect.

"Hi, my name is Christel Andersen and I run an online shooting forum. This is our address www.full-bore.co.uk and it is a thriving UK based online shooting forum for all disciplines and we always welcome new members to discuss all aspects of shooting and reloading at all distances. Now, what I was wondering was if it would be possible to link in with HFH somehow?
Maybe a banner on the forum? Please advice, Christel"

I got this reply.

"Hi Christel,

Thank you for your email & for getting in touch.

It is great to read of your website & you are more than welcome to put a message of support for Help for Heroes & a link to our website, unfortunately due to copyright you are unable to use a banner/logo at this stage I do apologise for this.

If there is anything else I can help you with please get in touch.

Best wishes,

Odd you cannot add a H4H banner somewhere to the forum, I have seen it used on other sites.

I think they might have thought that we were wanting them to help us rather than us trying to help the good cause.

Yes, Christel mail them and explain you want to help them by putting a H4H logo on the F-B forum?

I cant see it is for copy right reasons,,, you will see the logo all over the place,,,,and if you look at the logo as posted I cant see a Copyright or trade mark on it or in it??

Might also help if you were t explain to them that there are a number of forum members who are Veterans and serving members of the Armed forces.....
