Zombie style knives

If we entered a time of Civil Unrest/Armageddon/Zombie Attacking, what would we do?

Zombie style knives

#1 Post by DL. »

To be banned. What a shocker - make knives that look as if they are intended for violence and criminals use them for attacks. Who would have guessed?!

Yes but what will we do now when the zombie apocalypse strikes ?

Seriously though this is typical ! I'm willing to bet kitchen knives or stanly knives are more popular in crime but they ban these !

The thing is people actually believe such stupidity will actually make them "safer".

From the link above in the OP...

...
Safeguarding minister Sarah Newton said the ban would "keep communities safe".

Utterly moronic kukkuk Did they even bother to have a look at the ONS crime statistics to see what type of knife is used in violence in reality?? I think if they did they'd find bog standard kitchen knives are far and away the weapon of choice, which is unsurprising given the number of them there is versus 'exotic' knives like those. Then theres the cost. And then there's criminals who actually have half a brain and realize that such knives would create easily 'traceable' wounds that would lead the police straight to their door.

Looking at the knives in question they seem to be just as dangerous to the user as to the victim.

Fantasy legislation for fantasy blades.

Banning something because it looks scary is typical really, but there are a few models of machete on sale that have serrated back edge and in bright colours.

I have collected knives for years - but I wouldn't give those silly things house room. I only collect quality, working knives which have actual usefulness. Those things are a joke. 8-)

Is that reason to ban?
