LBP Practical & Gallery Comps
New to the forum and ive been trying to find out more information on the types of LBP people are using for both Practical and Gallery shooting.
Seems most favour the GSG or K22 for practical, but can they be used accurately for Gallery comps? if not what are people using?
Thanks

Re: LBP Practical & Gallery Comps
Buckmarks are generally regarded as being more accurate and reliable for gallery comps. Depends which matches you want to enter as ultimate accuracy may not be what you need.
I had a Buckmark until very recently and the first and only Bianchi match I entered with it, I managed to score a 1920, so as an all-rounder I'd say it's hard to beat but the mag capacity and weight let it down when shooting practical, so I've replaced it with a K22 now.
As always and knowing how difficult it can be due to our laws, it's best to try as many different types and configurations of LBP you can before buying. Even if you can just pick it up and dry-fire it, it will give you some idea.
You'll get a lot of different views on here as to what's the 'best' gun for a particular discipline. The 'best' gun is the one that suits you the best.

You have no need to worry about the potential accuracy of a K22 for precision GR events. Take a look at this thread:

Hmmmm... I might have to enter a gallery rifle match with mine and see how it performs!
