I'm 24, and one of the youngest members of the club. We have a couple under 21 however I do not often see them attend. I would say that the majority of our members are 45 and over.
It's always good when inviting friends/work colleagues to the guest days, especially when they have never shot before, however they always tend to believe that we don't have as many restrictions as we do and believe they can shoot semi centrefire or pistols, then they hear the legislation and get confused. It's a shame with this, but more of a shame is if they attempt to join a local club to them, they just receive a response of "they are not taking new membership".

I'm 49 and a shooter for over 30 years.
Quick question, is there a minimum age for membership of a Home Office approved club?

I suspect that you are old enough for membership of such a club.

Voted, I'm 62 and at least half our club members are older than me, we have 2 in their 80s still actively shooting

49 this year, but feeling a bit older today!

As per the other posts, I would think that 2/3 of the members at my two clubs are older than me.....or have had reeaally hard paper rounds!
