Nice looking black rifle.

I just bought a .22RF upper for myself which I can put on any of my lower receivers. All I could find was a Chiappa, which is not necessarily the best out there, but sometimes you take what you can get. Shoots pretty well. I put a Magpul rear sight on it, some actual AR handguards (the ones that come with it don't have heat shields), and one of these days I will replace the polymer upper receiver with a spare Aero Precision upper I have kicking around. Now if I could just pry some time to do more shooting out of 'she who must be obeyed'.

Happy birthday.

Try moving the scope forward, general rule of thumb with AR's is to have your nose touching the charging handle, this way you get consistant POA every time.

Doesn't work for everyone but is a good starting point. cheers

Thanks for the advice. It's my first AR so I'm sure it will be a steep learning curve.

Finally got to the range last night. Gun ran flawlessly, 400 rounds CCI Standard and Minimag no FTF or FTE. Accuracy with the 2-6X28 optic very impressive over 25 & 50m. Will put a "proper" scope on it at a later date to see how good it really is.

Happy belated Birthday!!

Looks like a great rifle - this is just what I want, but have to wait a while as I've only just began my journey into shooting. Like you, I've been researching the KRISS Defiance, but have decided on this.
