Barrels too short as well as OAL but other than that.... No doubt the fun police (and actual police) would be straight over to knock it on the head if anyone actually tried to bring one over teanews

Tippmenn make a superb .22 AR and this looks like an equally reliable firearm!

Ironically, as said, provided it met barrel and overall length requirements, it would be Sec1 by definition...

You wouldn't need the variation for the spare barrels by the way, as they are intrinsic parts of one firearm, it would be like having to have a variation for a spare barrel for a double barrel shotgun.

It would however be banned before the ship even docked though!!

Would it fall under the realms of a semi auto as it reloads itself? Or does the need to turn the handle make it manual reload?

Turning the handle makes it a manual operation firearm.
Though the powers that be would simply add "rotary hand crank" (sounds dirty!) rapidly to Sec5.

As mentioned above there was a .22 “Gatling gun” sold a few years ago. If memory serves, it was hand built and by the same guy who built a .22 TAC (Brocock air cartridge) system. One was s1 and one was s5!!! How ironic that the air rifle ostensibly, became the prohibited version.

The design has been around since 1862. 106 years before s5... reckon anyone could convince Tipmann to make a 12/24 version.....?! lol
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I’ve just emailed Tipmann for the dimensions as I couldn’t find anything on the net. But, I think for the gun to be regarded as a rifle and legal without stamps and such in the US, it has to have a 16” barrel and overal length of 26”..... looking at video and guestmating, it might be!!

$5000 would need a lottery wing though...

You could have alternate barrels!
