New Glock 'style' Pistol Calibre innovations CIP .22

24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.

Wow!
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Apparently so, and it's available to buy now for (I believe) 800-900 quid with either a shroud or moderator.

I'm really glad it exists but agree the price is going to put quite a few people off... Glock or no Glock who's going to spend 1500 on another lbp in .22lr? Especially with a cheaper version already available. Still, it's exciting to see another entry. What I really want someone to do though is release a LBP version of the Kel-Tec PMR 30 - that'd be something we haven't had before.

prefer the look of the Cactus extension bar.

and it uses a Walther Lothar barrel, but apparently the CIP production ones will have a new barrel.

Both of CI's releases have disappointed me. The ridiculous price of the Flock (£900-1000 for a properly licensed Glock might have been palatable) and the fixed muzzle brake (rather than stopping the stock collapsing all the way to maintain the 24" OAL) on the CMR-30 :bad: Glad i didn't change my plans to go to the show now!

If i was interested in the Glock i'd be tempted to get rid of the cocktail stirrer and fix a stock permanently
